Winter Solstice

My life was a frenzy of holiday activities until I felt it did not align with my spiritual nature. Instead, I looked within to honor my spiritual cycle of rest. I started celebrating the Winter Solstice a few years ago. More and more, I find myself attuning to the cycle of life. Looking outside my office window, I see snow! It’s so beautiful. The temperature is a high of 18 degrees Fahrenheit. This is one of the warmer average days for December here in Wisconsin. The winter solstice is a time of rest. Nature is taking a break here, and life slows down. The winter solstice is a time of shorter days and the longer nights. I love this time of the year so much. I look outside to see the cardinal birds that hang around. The stillness seems so peaceful. The nights are crisp and clear. I enjoy living where there is such a vast difference in seasons.

Humans enjoy a variety of celebratory experiences, and this time of year is no different. While shopping for holiday gifts at a small, family-owned metaphysical business, I met two ladies who were full of life and excitement. While helping me shop, I learned about some of their experiences with life. While honoring their experience, I validated that higher vibrational light beings did have problems coping with the slow vibration into which they were born. It’s OK to operate at this higher frequency without giving ourselves guilt. We continued talking, and angels came up as I mentioned that I use my angels to help me shop for items for others.

Using my spiritual senses feels like a life hack I wish I had known I had a long time ago. We all have spiritual senses just like our physical and mental senses, and we sometimes use this intuitive sense. Often, our spiritual senses take a backseat to our mind-based senses. We are so focused on receiving information from outside of ourselves that we don’t recognize our amazing inner abilities. As it stands, we are moving into an era of making choices from our heart rather than our heads. Some will enter this era, creating fear in their reality, and some will feel excited about the change in vibrational frequency and spiritual/psychic senses. This frequency feels more and more like HOME to me.
