Super Blue Full Moon in Aquarius
Aquarius is Relevant
Aquarius will be the theme for the next twenty years. Aquarius is one of the twelve zodiac signs. Aquarius is a revolutionary energy. This sign is all about equality for the collective and making it happen. So, Aquarians can be both inventors and the ones taking their inventions and bringing them into play in the world. Aquarian themes include originality, individuality, free-spirited, and sudden change. The Aquarius eccentric energy concentrates on establishing a different structure worldwide. Even if you don’t have your Sun sign in Aquarius, you can have Aquarian influence in your natal chart. The cosmic alignments are ripe for some revolution as Pluto digs up all that isn’t working for humanity. I like the saying, “When you know better, you do better!” I think this is what we are bringing into our reality individually and also collectively. Of course, you have free will and can stay in the place you are in until you choose to move forward. All choices are correct for you.
On August 19th, 2024, we have the Super Moon/Blue Moon/Full Moon in Aquarius. This vibrational energy offers us an opportunity to use power for transformational purposes. Full moons are about releasing anything not serving us. We can use this energy to release limiting beliefs, energetic ties to past hurts, worries about the future, and manifest an empowered mindset.
This specific Full Moon affects planets or angles of fixed signs(Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) at 27 degrees. Looking at my natal chart, my Venus in Scorpio(6th House) is precisely 27 degrees. So, the question for me is, what themes will the moon bring up during this energetic conjunction?
The Full Moon is also a time of celebration. We tend to stay up late and sleep less because our energies feel crazy. This full moon is in an exact square to Uranus, the planet of unpredictability! So I predict Wild will be extra this August 19th and moving forward to Jupiter Squaring Saturn in December. We have two opposing ideas, with the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius at the same degree. Leo is about self-pleasure and individual focus, while Aquarius finds pleasure when everyone is happy. Aquarians are about finding the solutions to total equality. Here, we have polarity.
The polarities of the Full Moon make it feel like they are asking us to choose choice A or choice B, which are two different directions. But can we find peace in selecting a mutually beneficial decision? Maybe there is a choice beyond Team A or Team B. Maybe it is Team AB. How can we all win? Winning happens when we respect each other individual free will. I do this by not trying to control others and allowing them to live their life. To each his/her/their own is a mantra of mine. What other people do is not my business!
So, not only do we have the polarities of the Full Moon energy, but we also have the unpredictability of Uranus, which can lead to unexpected events where we need to make a quick decision or change directions. This is already an exciting Full Moon, but wait—there is more!!
Cazimi Conjunction
The Sun and Mercury go full cazimi, and their conjunction happens simultaneously as the full moon. Cazimi means Mercury is within the 17′ arc of the Sun. This is significant because Mercury, the archetypical teacher, is gaining enlightenment from the Sun. The Sun’s energy amplifies Mercury. So this cazimi can bring enlightenment into your life when and if you are ready. There are a lot of people expecting their enlightenment event during this timeframe. Your enlightenment can help you hear what your soul desires. Why did you incarnate? What are your spiritual gifts? What came before and what comes after incarnating?
Blue Moon’s are Rare
Before we get into another highlighted powerful astrological time, let’s take a quick peek at the Full Moon. Once in a Blue Moon is a saying that denotes a rare occurrence. Rare is highlighted here with this type of Moon. I would look at the many, many occurrences happening at the same time with this moon and feel it is auspicious. This moon is the third moon of four full moons occurring in one season, and it is SUPER close to the Earth, making it a Super Moon. Honestly, this already feels way bigger than our Total Solar Eclipse in April.
Jupiter Saturn Square Off
Another powerful conjunction on August 19th is the Jupiter Square Saturn conjunction peak. It is directly conjunct on the 19th of August and again on the 24th of December. I think the December peak will bring our attention to the heated political arena in the USA. This conjunction is extremely rare because they rarely aspect each other, and when they do, it is a banger. This aspect occurs every 20 years and highlights world affairs and a new age. Remember, our Aquarius mindset is focused on revolution for total equality. Revolution can bring chaos to the forefront while we institute a better way to live because we are spiritually more advanced. Will we see some cosmic sign? I am leaning towards a significant event for the week of August! All signs lead to transformation on a considerable scale. While I do not believe in someone or something else coming to save us, I am inclined to see these energies as transformational for both the individual and the collective. It is time to heal; we create healing keys for others through healing.
Jupiter’s squaring Saturn is at 17 degrees. Jupiter is at 17 degrees in Gemini, and Saturn is at 17 degrees in Pisces. My Saturn is in Gemini at nearly 17 degrees, and I look forward to seeing what this Jupiter Square Saturn has for me. Astrology allows us to see how the planet’s archetypes influence our journeys and use this information like a playbook. Here, we see a clash of faith vs. fear! While we have been changing individually, we will see change on a large scale worldwide that has never been seen before. Will we move forward with positive change, or will we allow fear to hold us in place?
What we can take away is that no matter what is happening in the world, we can choose how we react to it through free will. When fear is released, it makes space in our light bodies for love. Love energy is very powerful. I can hold my energetic vibration of love and peace, and through this, I affect others around me in a positive way.
