Virgo Season 22nd Aug-22 September

Charming, Witty, and Usually Correct About Everything

Back-to-school season has descended, and the mornings are crisp, in the upper 40F degrees. I sip my hot apple cider and enjoy the autumn preview for a few hours before the cicadas remind me about the afternoon warmth. If one focuses, there is always joy and enchantment to experience.

Virgo Season has descended in all its earthly glory. I get excited about this season because my Neptune, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Scorpio are in the 6th house(This is a stellium). Virgo rules this house, and so my placements, including Mars, the planet of action, passion, and sexuality, get a boost of energy. So what’s up with Virgo? Virgos are said to be the foundation of civilization. The Virgo energy loves to be critical about everything because they always view through a lens of improvement! I say this with love since this speaks to me. Even when cooking a new recipe or dish, I seek feedback on how to improve it. When I exercise, I look for ways to improve. Improvement to further progress is the front end of this sign’s unique abilities or superpowers! Keep in mind we are perfect beings of light having a human experience. But while we are here, we can harness Virgo’s keen eye for progress.

This Virgo season starts in the last vestiges of Mercury retrograde, so this week may seem particularly challenging for some people with Virgo aspects. Feeling stuck will be the primary challenge due to Mercury pulling us into a deeper part of ourselves for improved alignment. As the first week of the Virgo season leaves, we may feel the calling to pay attention to our health and wellness. This can involve all aspects of the mind, body, and soul! Energy affects all levels of humans through the mind-body-spirit triangle. The New Moon energy with Venus in Libra will have a pleasant feeling as we feel the motivation of Virgo’s eye for improvement!

Look at your natal chart for any Virgo or 6th house placements. This will help you get a feel for the areas you might be motivated to improve. If your Mars is in the 6th house, you also might feel an extra energy boost for organizing and completing projects. Recently, I detailed two cars and did six loads of laundry, including all the sheets, mattress protectors, and dog blankets. In addition, I picked raspberries from the garden, lubed all the garage door joints, swept out the garage, and got the patio chairs ready to be repainted. In the following days, I repainted the patio chairs, picked all the garden produce, picked a bushel of Honeycrisp apples, washed the car, got a few medical appointments completed, made a batch of dog food, cooked up another batch of dinners, and watered the front and back garden several times. I knocked several entries off my to-do list.

Virgo season’s energy has an earthly focus, with some Ecplise energy backing it. It calls us to refocus from having fun to cleaning up after our summer rest. It’s time to get organized. This energy shines in organizing our health and wellness, our homes, and even finding other ways of improvement. The kids are officially back in school, and everything returns to a more structured schedule. Life looks like it could use a bit of tweaking after having so much fun in the fire sign of Leo.

Let’s get back to school, work and declutter! Earth energy supports us with these tasks while the eclipse energy is already starting to pour in with added oomph! Next up is the New Moon in Virgo on September 3, 2024.
